As early in May,Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology,has issued the semiconductor lighting technology development-the 12th Five-Year Development Plan(draft),proposing that by the year of 2015,the LED lighting industry scale will soar to 500 billion yuan,and LED lighting products will account for 30%of the general lighting;it will specially focus on cultivating 20-30 domestic leading enterprises,building 20 national industry bases as well as adding 50 cities to"Ten Thousand LED lights in Ten Cities"program.At the same time,the above"planning"also pointed out that 80%of chip manufacture will adopt the domestic brands,and the lighting effect will be improved while the cost to fall to 1/5.If the plan takes effect,Chinese LED industry will embrace a new era in the near future.
