In November this year, new commercial vehicle registrations grew by 8.9 percent year on year in the European Union, totaling 152,439 units, according to the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association (ACEA). The month counted on average the same number of working day across the region. Looking at the major markets, France (-2.2 percent) market shrank in comparison with November 2012 and Italy market grew by 1.1 percent, while German (+10 percent), the UK (+22.8 percent) and Spanish (+26 percent) markets posted double-digit increases.

In the first 11 months of this year, demand for new commercial vehicles in the EU was down 1.7 percent year on year, with 1,541,856 new registrations. Spain (+6.3 percent) and the UK (+10.7 percent) recorded more vehicle registrations than in the same period last year, while Italy (-14.2 percent), France (-5.5 percent) and Germany (-4.3 percent) saw their markets decline.
