Ferrocene is a metal organic compound. Under ordinary temperature, it is a kind of orange powder with camphor smell. The melting point is 172-174℃ and the boiling point is 249℃. It is insoluble in water, but easily soluble in benzene, ethyl ether, gasoline, diesel oil and other organic solvents. It can’t react with acid, alkali and ultraviolet.
