The disc type vacuum drier is applicable to drying of heat sensitive materials with requirement for very low temperature drying, such as drug, vitamin, biological products, enzyme and other materials containing solvent. Wet material is added in batches into the dosing unit withstanding negative pressure, the vacuum pump is opened, and after the disc drier is under negative pressure, material is evenly added through a continuous locking device into the drier for drying. The dried material is discharged from the outlet at the bottom. Moisture escaping from material is collected by a condenser and solvent receiving tank. The whole process of operation is under negative pressure.
